My experience as a cognitive scientist was very useful in my role as a design strategist and content owner for a social media start-up. I developed a research-driven content strategy that balanced personal privacy with social connections in this early stage company.

I defined a strategic approach based on the cognitive science of individual personality and interpersonal relationships, while balancing complexity and innovation with technical constraints.

Working in a small start-up environment provided an opportunity to work closely across product roles, and to have a big impact on strategic decisions.
